Completing our amazing collection of wooden dinosaurs from Forest Melody is the beautiful Diplodocus. Diplodocus was the longest known dinosaur, measuring up to 27 metres and weighing as much as a large truck. These huge animals were plant eaters and to meet their fuel needs they would have had to constantly eat throughout the day, consuming huge amounts of vegetation.

Wooden animal figures have long been used as a hands on educational tool to help children learn about different animals and the world around them while also having lots of fun engaging in imaginative play.

As their collection grows, so too will the adventures they have. From the farm to the forest and beyond.

These beautifully handcrafted wooden dinosaurs are an excellent addition to any small world play set up, as well as montessori and waldorf activities and are also a very special keepsake toy.

Each toy has been carefully sketched, designed, tested, carved and painted by hand. This entire process is intricate, detailed and always involves a lot of love and care from start to finish.

When you hold a Forest Melody wooden animal in your hands, you immediately feel and appreciate the incredible craftsmanship and know that these toys will be cherished for many years to come.
